I Choose to Live in the Reality of All That is True About God–Maxim # 20

Choose to believe, act, and think in light of all the truth about Himself which He has revealed.

I can presume that everything is going so wrong and bad that God has forgotten about me or that things are beyond His control, neither of which is true. But I can allow myself to sink into a mood of despair where I have no business being.

 

This may sound foolish, but I can easily not live in the reality of what is true about God.

For instance, I can sincerely confess sin to Him and resolve to turn from it and He forgives me.

But I can live as if He is still holding it against me and not enjoy and appreciate His forgiveness.
