“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised” (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15).
This is basic Christianity (Philippians 1:21).
And this is my ultimate purpose.
I often need a reality check to think about why I do the things I do and where I am in life.
I can love work, meeting goals, the good I accomplish, achieve.
I can love competing in the marketplace or with myself, and I can do my work simply because it’s necessary.
But I want my primary motivation to be the love of Christ.
