OPC Pastor Dan Knox, who suffered a major stroke on October 29th, remains hospitalized at Allegany Memorial Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, but is no longer critical.
Dr. George Cottenden, Stated Clerk of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, has released the following statement concerning Dan Knox:
Please continue to pray for Pastor Dan Knox (Grace OPC, Sewickley, PA), who suffered a stroke last week. He is alert and aware and able to follow instructions. However, there is still loss of movement and vision on the left side. It is expected that he will be moved out of Neuro ICU this week and begin physical therapy.
This may be followed by three weeks of inpatient rehab and then a long period of aggressive rehab at home.
Please remember his wife Pam and his family, which includes a son, Dr. Jim Knox, OPC missionary doctor serving in Uganda.
George R. Cottenden
Stated Clerk
