PCA Women in the Church International Conference 2011 – Amazing Grace 360: Whole Gospel. Whole Life. Whole World.

Written by Staff | Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Nancy Guthrie, a gifted teacher, writer, and speaker will serve as the conference teacher. Worship and music will be led by Kevin Twit of Indelible Grace and Laura Story, worship leader at Perimeter, PCA. The Sunday morning pastor is Brian Habig.

Christian Education and Publications (CEP), a denominational committee of the Presbyterian Church in America, is planning a fifth international PCA women’s conference October 7-9, 2011 at the Cobb Galleria Center which is located just north of Atlanta.

Jane Patete (Coordinator of Women’s Ministries) says, “Our prayer for the conference is that sisters in Christ will come together in worshipful praise to the God of Grace, acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives, desiring to be further equipped to live to the praise of His glory, and anticipating the joys of heaven.”

In 2006, CEP hosted 4,000 women, including teenage daughters, for a denomination-wide women’s conference. A follow-up survey among the attendees indicated a strong desire for CEP to plan another PCA conference. The CEP staff and committee listened, prayed and planned Amazing Grace 360 Conference: Whole Gospel. Whole Life. Whole World.

For many women, the Cobb Galleria will bring wonderful memories of true fellowship with sisters from across the PCA. In 1989, CEP hosted the first major PCA conference for women at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel which is now connected to the Cobb Galleria. In 1999, having outgrown the hotel, 4,000 PCA women gathered at the Cobb Galleria.

Offered to PCA women, ages 13 years and up, the 2011 conference’s theme is “a grand and glorious look at the full-orbed grace of God in our lives.” Nancy Guthrie, a gifted teacher, writer, and speaker will serve as the conference teacher. Worship and music will be led by Kevin Twit of Indelible Grace and Laura Story, worship leader at Perimeter, PCA. The Sunday morning pastor is Brian Habig, a former Reformed University Minister, author, and current pastor of Downtown PCA in Greenville, SC.

This conference offers something new! CEP has added, along with the usual pre-conference seminars, a series of seminars within the main conference offered to all attendees. For those who are participants of former conferences, this conference faculty will offer a blend of familiar and new faces. These seminars, led by outstanding PCA men and women, are designed to strengthen, inform, and equip women to live out the amazing Gospel of grace, in all situations, in all of life. The pre-conference seminars on Friday offer further opportunities for encouragement and instruction in the truths of God’s Amazing Grace and its application to all of life.

Visit www.amazinggrace360.com to register and view conference faculty and topics. Early bird registration discount is offered through May 31st.
