MTW Missionary Richard Ramsay Partners with Third Millennium Ministries

Written by Staff | Thursday, October 8, 2009

Richard Ramsay, a career missionary in Chile for more than two decades with Mission to the World (PCA), and who most recently has been a part of the Miami International Seminary, as well as Universidad FLET, has recently begun cooperating with Third Millennium Ministries of Orlando.

While continuing to serve under Mission to the World, Richard will join Third Millennium’s commitment to saturate the whole world with good materials, including many countries that are closed to Christian mission work. Richard will lead their project to develop courses based on these resources, especially in the form of programmed online courses.

Third Millennium was founded by Dr. Richard L. Pratt, Jr., previously a professor at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. They provide resources for Christian education to hundreds of thousands of pastors and leaders around the world. They focus on producing and distributing excellent videos and DVDs that they offer for free in English, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian and Spanish. Their courses will be free and available to anyone.

The Ramsays will also continue to work with Miami International Seminary (MINTS). Angelica will remain as the registrar and office manager, and Richard will still teach courses for them.

Richard is a 1974 graduate of Westminster Seminary, and holds a ThM from Covenant and a DMin from Westminster. The Ramsay’s will continue to live in Miami.
