If you feel unsettled by uncertainty or frustrated by outcomes you cannot influence, you are sharing a common weakness. God does not ask you to manage history. He asks you to trust Him within it.
We are easily unsettled when events seem to move beyond our control.
“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” – Proverbs 21:1 (ESV)
This verse offers quiet stability in a restless world. It reminds us that God’s governance extends even into places that feel distant from faith or indifferent to it. Decisions made by those in authority are not outside His reach.
For believers, this truth does not remove responsibility or effort. It removes panic.
