Great Is the Lord, and Highly to Be Praised

We will speak well of our God forever.

Written by Mike Ratliff | Sunday, January 27, 2019

Let us exalt, Him who is our God, and King. When we are finally brought into our Lord’s presence in eternity, we will then see and wonder at His magnitude and mercy and then we will bless, His name forever and ever. We will speak well of our God forever. We will praise and worship Him continually and forever.

4  We will not conceal them from their children,
But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done. Psalms 78:4 (NASB)

God is good. He is beyond our comprehension in His magnificence and the depths of His mercy. He is Holy, Righteous, and Just. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Immutable. Oh, let us praise Him from grateful hearts.

1  I will extol You, my God, O King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Psalms 145:1 (NASB)

Those who belong to the Saviour, being bought with His blood, know that their salvation, including their future glory, is all according to bringing glory to God. We do not have a clear picture of the magnitude of our salvation on this side of eternity, however, what those in Christ have been saved from is the eternal wrath of God and separation from Him and His mercy and grace forever.
