ARP Youth Retreat

Written by Staff | Friday, September 4, 2009

The Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP) will be holding its 2009 Super Senior High Retreat in September.

“The Pursuit of Happiness” (Psalm 1) is the theme of this year’s fall retreat Sept. 25-27 at Bonclarken Conference Center, Flat Rock, NC. Guest speaker is Aaron Morgan,

assistant pastor at Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Lake Wylie, SC. Morgan’s passion is for youth to discover a love for the Word of God and abide in its truth each and every day. He is married to Rachael and they have three boys, Elijah (4), Joshua (2) and baby Caleb. Josh Bales will lead worship and music. Bales is a singer/songwriter from Chattanooga, TN. As worship leader, he aims to engage the people of God in biblically thoughtful worship, connecting the worship of the historical church with today’s church.

Cost is $80 for Bonclarken facilities and $60 for private housing. A non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by Sept. 11 (Free T-shirts if you register by Sept. 11). Free bowling is planned for Saturday night.
Make one check payable to First Presbyterian Christian Education and send to Bonnie Hornsby, c/o Highlands ARP Church, PO Box 847, Grayson, GA 30017. Please be sure to include male and female advisors in your group. For more information, contact Bonnie Hornsby at (770) 978-2414 or [email protected].
The Senior High Retreat Planning Committee: Evan English, Brad Anderson, Anthony Navarro and Bonnie Hornsby.
