The complaints of the godless, the scoffing of the spiritless damned, mean nothing to the woman of beauty. The world crucified beauty incarnate when He refused to bow to their standards. But God is raising up a generation of women who will defy the lies of the age, laugh at the days to come, and teach their daughters that worth is not in waistlines but in worship.
Beauty, Biblically speaking, is not the geometrical pleasantness of a face, a figure, or a personality. It is not defined by individuals or by cultures. Beauty comes from something deeper than a skin-deep veneer and goes even deeper than the bones, the cells, or the DNA. Beauty is the radiance of a woman rightly ordered unto her God. It is the light of a soul that fears the Lord, submits to His Word, and delights in her God-given feminine design.
True beauty is not a perfectly contoured face or a flawless figure—it is not cleavage or collagen. It is not found in the mirror or on the makeup aisle. It is not shaped by fashion, fame, filters, or fawning onlookers. The world shouts that beauty is skin, sex, and spotlight. God says female beauty is feminine holiness.
It is Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him lord (1 Peter 3:6). It is Ruth, who clung to Naomi and labored in the fields with quiet dignity. It is Esther, who adorned herself, not with rebellion, but with readiness to lay down her life for her people. It is Mary, who said, “Let it be to me according to your word,” though it meant scandal and suspicion. It is the woman of Proverbs 31, whose hands work with willing strength, whose mouth opens with wisdom, and whose children rise and bless her—not because she slayed the runway, but because she walked in uprightness.
