The principle is simple. When we recognize and are willing to use whatever we have close at hand, when we move forward in faith, transformation happens.

Availability can be transformational. What was Moses’s rod became the rod of God. Moses still carried it; however, ownership changed due to availability.

Some people live in frustration because they are unwilling to give what they have to God.

Availability Opens up Opportunities

Availability allows us to see what we would never see otherwise.

What Is in Your Hand?

“And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:..”
Exodus 4:2-4

We see from this moment that Moses rod became an instrument that brought forth the work of God.

When we are willing to surrender what we have in hand in obedience, from casting down to picking up.
