Update from Pastor David Robertson of St. Peters Church, Dundee – IN HIS OWN WORDS!!!

Written by Staff | Sunday, December 4, 2011

Pastor Robertson has been released from Intensive and Critical Care units and is in a general hospital bed in Dundee. In a way to say thinks to so many of his friends who have been praying, he has made his first post on Facebook this (Sunday) morning.

We have left the typo’s in – just the way he wrote it – and then included a few of the hundreds of comments that are now building up on his Facebook page;

David Andrew Robertson
Basic situation is that I hAve been in critical in Ninewells and almost died. God has been merciful and two days ago I was moved to a general ward. I no longer need eXtra oxygen, am allowed to eat some yoghurt, can readand speak! We are not out of the woods. . I long to be with my family and back at St Petes.

A few comments follow:

Niall Dòmhnall MacGill-Eain Delighted to hear from you, just absolutely delighted. We miss you. We rejoice in God’s goodness, his answers to so many prayers. We pray He continues to bless you with strength and recovery, and the assurance of his presence for you, your family and our friends in St Petes.

Sheena Strain That is wonderful news indeed! Our family have been praying constantly for you since we heard you were in hospital. Your brothers and sisters at Main Street Presbyterian Church have been praying for you at our midweek meeting also.

Vijay Nair It took me a while to realise that it’s actually your OWN posting David. The void you left in FB is now filled. What joy at St.Peter’s today! Will certainly be continuing to pray for your healing and the family, both home and church. Thank you Lord for yet another MIRACLE!

Alan McKnight Fantastic News David! So good to hear of tangible improvements in your condition. God is good all the time!

Ramsay Shields How good it s to read a post from your own hand. We continue to pay for you, and rejoice in anwsered prayer so far.

Phil Lidstone Continuing to pray for you,a full recovery and for your family to know the peace that only God can bring.
