Why is it, that people of all other religions tend to seek to enter historically-Christian nations? Because they are not stupid; they know their lives there will be infinitely better, than the non-Christian cultures from which they came. It is always a little amusing, to hear people complain about the perceived (or even real) wrongs they experience in Christianized lands. Have fun making those complaints in the cultures from which you have come(!)
I would rather use the term, “Kingdom of God [or Christ],” but this title (above) has an even-broader appeal in the world (generally)–so, it will suffice.
The point I wish to make, is that ever since our Lord Jesus Christ poured out the Blessed Holy Spirit on His church at Pentecost, the world has never been the same; and the changes are dramatic in the extreme. And ALL of this is because of the expanding nature of Christ’s churched Kingdom.
Whereas darkness and constitutional idolatry covered the earth before the outbreak of the Kingdom of God–now, everything has been affected by it (the Kingdom). All of this is a result of the Spirit’s work in the elect children of Christ’s church.
We all know the very common, but frankly ignorant objections to the singular superiority of the Christian religion; do we not? How often do we hear, “Oh, but Columbus brought a plague to Hispaniola”; or, “Yes, but do you not remember how the Native Americans were (very often) mistreated?”; or, “What about the Salem witch trials?”? We could go on and on; but here is the big difference: what other religion have you ever heard actually confess wrong, and try to remedy it? . . . [I am waiting . . . I did not think so. I cannot think of one, either.]
On top of this, where would you rather live–in the United States (for example), where Christianity has had a huge impact for many years; or a Muslim country, where you would be under Satan’s last-gasp efforts to destroy you?
