The Human Continuum: Determining the Value of Human Life, Dialogue & Debate

Written by Regent University | Saturday, March 6, 2010

Are human beings intrinsically valuable, or, does our value exist on a continuum?

From abortion, euthanasia, cloning, and robots, to the creation of human hybrids, plant and animal rights, and genetic engineering, the debate surrounding the value of human life holds incredible opportunity and monumental implications.

Join Regent University Students for Life for its first ever bioethics symposium, “The Human Continuum: Determining the Value of Human Life,” featuring renowned bioethicists, including Wesley J. Smith of the Discovery Institute, Burke Balch of National Right to Life, Paige Cunningham of the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity and Mark Mostert of the Institute for the Study of Disability and Bioethics.

Regent Students for Life aims to both educate and create the opportunity for genuine dialogue. The audience is invited to participate. RSFL guarantees that any individual, regardless of stance on an issue, will be permitted to ask questions.

We anticipate a magnificent event and hope you will participate with us. For more information, write [email protected]
