The Basics of the Bible: A Curriculum for Children

Written by Staff | Monday, July 7, 2008

Children’s Ministry International’s "Bible Building Blocks of the Faith" provides a curriculum that will help us teach our children a number of biblical themes: God, grace, trust, and general biblical knowledge  This special curriculum for children is grounded in Scripture, the Reformed faith, and the Westminster Catechism.

Based on the Children’s Catechism studies are divided into 14 topics.  Each series can be taught for around 12 weeks depending on the age of the class.  Each series is divided into 5-6 lessons and has visualized questions and answers, a visualized Scripture memory verse, a visualized Bible lesson, songs, review games and crafts.  This is a flannel board curriculum so the children can see each concept, manipulate the figures, and study, memorize and review them.

Series A: The Who, What, Why Of Creation is available now, based on the first five questions of the Children’s Catechism. A song CD comes with each series.  There are also coloring books available to add to the fun and memory of everything the child sees and hears.

Order by going to CMI, calling 1-888-345-4264, or e-mailing CMI if you have questions about this or any of our Reformed and catechetical material.
