Currently staffed by three volunteers, our recent and expected future growth requires a commission-only paid part-time helper in Advertising Sales. Some website savvy would help a lot! (Pass this on to a friend if you aren’t interested.)

As Dominic (Aquila) and Don (Clements) begin to make long term plans for a new business model for The Aquila Report, one thing is clear. There is already too much work for three volunteers to do.

That’s right – THREE! Toby Holt just joined us as a volunteer in social networking/marketing! Welcome aboard, Toby! (His first task – get the weekly email advisory started.)

Having filled our needs in marketing is important, but the need in advertising sales is downright urgent. Just ask our badly neglected advertisers who are not being billed promptly nor receiving the kind of customer service they should be receiving (but they stick with us anyway – thanks to all of you)

So, if you have even a little experience in Advertising or Sales, or if you just have a desire to see The Aquila Report continue to grow, please contact Don Clements ([email protected] or call 540-726-8223). We will provide all kinds of leads to prospective advertisers – your job would be to contact them (first call by phone, of course), seek to get them to advertise with us, and then provide customer service to get the banner and button ads uploaded. You would also provide our Treasurer/Business Manager with data needed for monthly billing.

I know, you want to know how much you can make in commissions. Well, depending on the type of contract we agree to, it could be as much as $200 a month in commissions immediately if we filled all our banner and button available slots with paid ads based on last month’s page view count (over 100K).

That number could easily double or more with our new marketing efforts – especially getting our weekly email alert up and running. But – and this is the big carrot – imagine what those page views would be like if we did even a reasonable amount of social networking of this product.

We are willing to provide an extraordinary bonus for someone who is willing to start quickly and is committed to remain with us on what will be a part-time position for a long time (unless we somehow explode!!).
