Stop Living by Trans Lies

Thankfully there is fightback going on here.

Written by Bill Muehlenberg | Friday, November 14, 2025

“We can’t protect kids until we adults cure ourselves of any illusions that this is just another passing fad, a fringe movement that affects very few and will dissipate on its own. Gender ideology has a committed, well-funded, multi-faction army promoting and defending it. It’s going to take the equivalent on the other side to stand up against it.”

The trans tsunami has caused untold damage, especially to women and children. Like the homosexual behemoth before it, the trans mafia has everything going for it: the full backing of the media, our schools, popular culture, most politicians and leaders, and the commentariat.

With such an onslaught it is hard to resist. But there are some rays of hope to be found here and there. Let me speak to three of them. Just this morning I woke up to this good news headline: “Supreme Court hands Trump victory on transgender passport policy change”. The story begins this way:

The Supreme Court cleared the way for the State Department to require people to state their biological sex on new or renewed passports, a victory for the Trump administration as it aims to tighten policies involving transgender people. The high court found in a 6-3 order temporarily greenlighting the policy that a lower court in Massachusetts had erred in blocking it.“

Displaying passport holders’ sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth—in both cases, the Government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment,” the majority wrote in the unsigned order.

Finally, a bit of sanity and common sense. Well done Trump and SCOTUS. We need many more victories like this. And, secondly, perhaps the tide is beginning to turn. As I mentioned in an earlier article:

A report from the Centre for Heterodox Social Science in the US has found that there are far fewer young people now identifying as trans or homosexual over the past few years. As one media discussion states:

“The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), which conducts a large annual survey of US undergraduates, polled over 60,000 students in 2025. My analysis of the raw data shows that in that year, just 3.6% of respondents identified as a gender other than male or female. By comparison, the figure was 5.2% in 2024 and 6.8% in both 2022 and 2023. In other words, the share of trans-identified students has effectively halved in just two years.”

That is another welcome inductor that the fightback might be doing some good. And thirdly, a brand-new book that is out on this matter is a must read. It is all the more important because it is penned by a leftist. I refer to Anita Bartholomew’s Sacrificial Lambs: A Liberal Reporter Exposes How the Progressive Left Harms Children in the Name of Gender Ideology (Pitchstone Publishing, 2025).

She is indeed a liberal, and for a long time she played the trans game, thinking it was the nice thing and the right thing to do to just go along with the whole agenda. But she began to realise there was nothing nice or right about this. Allowing people to live in their world of delusion—and affirming it—is not helpful, but harmful.

Just a few quotes from the book’s Introduction will give you enough of a feel for where she is coming from and why this volume is so very important. She starts by saying this:

Until recent years, I had mostly used gender-confused people’s “preferred pronouns.” It seemed rude not to. Living in the uber-progressive Pacific Northwest, I’d met a number of people who considered themselves trans. They didn’t seem to be bothering anyone else…I thought I was being kind. I can pinpoint the moment when I first recognized there was something not quite right about all this. (p. 7)

She discusses that event and then writes:
