“Moses spoke thus to the people of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses, because of their broken spirit and harsh slavery” (Exodus 6:9). “So the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go in, tell Pharoah king of Egypt to let the people of Israel go out of the land’” (Exodus 6:10,11).
We’ve all heard, “plan your work” and “work your plan.”
It’s good advice.
But what happens when problems occur once the plan begins?
Every plan should anticipate some problems and resistance.
If we have what appears to be a well thought out plan, we should not quickly abandon it at the first sign of trouble.
Many successful people will tell you that persevering and pushing through the problems eventually brought success.
When Moses had initiated leading the children of Israel out of Egypt (Ex. 6), he faced opposition not only from Pharaoh but also his own people.
