You may have people asking you to do a lot of things, but you may need to say “no” because you have determined what’s most important. Writing this blog and developing this material meant that I had to relinquish other things; things I was good at and knowledgeable in and enjoyed doing.
You’ve probably heard quotes by Warren Buffett and Steve Jobs about the importance of saying, “no.”
Buffett makes the point that to become really successful, you need to say, “no” to almost everything.
And Jobs attributed success to saying “no” to a lot of things that one might do, and instead, be successful to do one thing very well.
As Christians, it’s sometimes hard to figure out what to say “no” to.
You may be good at doing many things, but maybe you need to say “no” to most and do the most important.
