Pray that the LORD would bless Fred Greco, his wife, Deb, and his ministry. Might the LORD continue to mature Fred in his faith, in grace, and in his walk with Christ. Pray all these for the glory of our heavenly King, the one true God, Yahweh.
As Fred Greco, our new Stated Clerk, begins his tenure and even when settled in, he—like other coordinators and presidents of our committees and agencies and like your local pastors—needs the support of your prayers. Here are a few thoughts in that vein.
Pray for his personal relationship with Christ and his personal piety.
Satan attacks those whose failures would be most harmful to the Kingdom of God. Fred is not exempt from that. Pray that the LORD would protect him from temptation and that he would be led by the Holy Spirit and by Scripture. Pray that he would continue in orthodoxy and in his reliance upon Christ and that he would be protected from any scandal or blot on his reputation. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Eph. 6:10–11.
Pray for his marriage.
When our marriages are not healthy, we are impacted in every other area of our lives, and our witnesses are hampered. Pray that the LORD would protect Fred and Deb’s union and that they would be an example to others in their love and care for one another. “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…” Eph. 5:25.
