PCUSA General Assembly committee leadership finalized

The leadership of the 18 committees for the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s 219th General Assembly has been announced.

According to Presbyterian News Service, the committee leadership (M = moderator; V = vice-moderator; A = committee assistant; P = parliamentarian) is as follows:
· Bills and Overtures: M – Elder Heath Rada (Western North Carolina); V – the Rev. Aleida Jernigan (Cascades); A -Bridgett Green (Charlotte); P – the Rev. Stephen W. Smith (Pacific)

Bruce Reyes-Chow, moderator of the 218th General Assembly, selected the leadership with the assistance of General Assembly Stated Clerk Gradye Parsons, General Assembly Mission Council Executive Director Linda Valentine, Director of Operations for the Office of the General Assembly Tom Hay, Committee on the Office of the General Assembly Chair Dennis Hughes, a member of the General Assembly Committee on Representation, and OGA managers of General Assembly business and assembly services
