PCA Committees announce Fifty Days of Prayer for the PCA – The Gospel of the Kingdom

Written by Staff | Monday, January 18, 2010

Each year Christian Education and Publications and MNA call our denomination to 50 days of prayer for the General Assembly and produce a devotional that churches and individuals can use for individual and group prayer during the 50 days, which will take place from May 6th to June 24th this year.

This year’s devotional will explore the primary themes found in the Sermon on the Mount: Kingdom Character, Kingdom Ethics, Kingdom Piety and Kingdom Values.

Each day of the devotional will also include prayer requests from 10 PCA agencies and Committees, so that we may join in prayer for the entire PCA as we prepare for the 38th General Assembly.

Michael F. Ross is the senior pastor of Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina. He has written materials for the PCA’s 50 Days of Prayer since the inception of this denominational prayer ministry. Each year Christian Education and Publications and Mission to North American have partnered in this endeavor to bring the entire PCA together in prayer.

Orders can be placed by calling CE&P at 1-800-283-1357, visiting their website at www.cepbookstore.com, or emailing them at [email protected]. Orders will be taken until March 26, 2010; booklets will not be available unless they are pre-ordered by that date.

The devotional will also be available online as a PDF document. Please check the MNA website after April 8 at www.pca-mna.org.
