This means we want our lives, wherever we are and whatever we do, to glorify God. Ultimately, we serve Jesus Christ (Colossians 3: 17, 23, 24). Sometimes feeling like I don’t know where I’m going, dealing with discouragement and doubts, I remember that even though things may not be making sense to me, they make sense to God.
In Part 1, we considered that it’s okay when in life we don’t have a clear picture of where we are going.
Abraham is our example and brother who left his homeland for a new place to which God was calling him, and he was in the dark as to what the future would look like.
As Christians, we know God is governing all things, and that He loves us. This should encourage us; but our next thought may be the trials and difficulties that await us in this life.
Rather than dwelling on those unknowns, we are better off dwelling on the promises that God gives us to be with us in whatever we experience, and supplying all we will need (Joshua 1:9).
