Monthly Newsletter from Bill and Susan Carr

September, 2009

We may not be there in South Africa, but we continue to pray for our students and keep informed about them as best we can. There has been another graduation at the seminary. We rejoice for the graduates and ask that you pray for them as well.

One of our recent graduates is Alfred Zitha. Alfred has been a pastor and evangelist for several years, working in the rural townships. It has been a privilege to teach such a man, who daily fights the good fight and ministers to others. Alfred has completed his bachelor’s degree and will continue as a leader in the Good Tidings Outreach Ministry.

Another graduate is Wilhelem Stenberg. Before becoming a Christian, Wilhelem was a well-known Wiccan leader and well versed in Eastern religions. After the Lord converted him, Wilhelem enrolled in the Andrew Murray Bible School. He just received his diploma. Wilhelem is one of our strongest evangelists, particularly to those involved in Eastern religions. He loves to work with children’s ministries and is now on staff of the Eden congregation, the church which hosts our seminary.

None of our students are full time. They all have to financially support themselves. Most have families and most are already heavily involved in some aspect of ministry. Going to seminary or Bible School is not an easy road for them. Please pray for all of our students, for their encouragement and perseverance.

Please pray for us as well…strength and safety on the road. You and our other supporters have been so faithful and consistent! We want to see as many of you as possible while we are here. We are working hard at this and constantly traveling.

In Christ,
Bill Carr
