Ministry Transitions in the PCA

Various pastoral changes within the PCA

Recently byFaith magazine published a list of ministry transitions within the PCA. Of note is Rod May’s move from coordinator of Reformed University Ministries to executive pastor of Mitchell Road PC in Greenville, SC. Also Thomas Cannon’s transition from pastor of Red Mountain Church in Birmingham, AL to coordinator of Reformed University Ministries. 

 

Mike Aitcheson, continuing as assistant pastor of Lake Baldwin Church in Orlando, Fla., and starting as organizing pastor of Christ United Fellowship Orlando.

Jarrett Allebach, continuing as assistant pastor of Trinity PC in Providence, R.I., and starting as organizing pastor of Grace PC in Worcester, Mass.

James Almond, from assistant pastor of Carolina PC in Locust, N.C., to pastor of Goshen PC in Belmont, N.C.

Joseph Arnold, from pastor of Covenant PC in Rockingham, N.C., to pastor of Faith PC in Cheraw, S.C.

Marshall Brown, from assistant pastor of Pacific Crossroads Church in Los Angeles, Calif., to senior pastor of Grace PC of the North Shore in Winnetka, Ill.

Thomas Cannon, from pastor of Red Mountain Church in Birmingham, Ala., to coordinator of Reformed University Ministries.

David Cassidy, from pastor of Redeemer PC in Austin, Texas, to senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tenn.

Howard Cole, from assistant pastor of Church of the Redeemer in Monroe, N.C., to pastor of Metro North Church in Goose Creek, S.C.

Shawn Doud, from laboring out of bounds to assistant pastor of Hope PC in Lawrenceville, N.J.

Todd Gwennap, from assistant pastor of Arden PC in Arden, N.C., to assistant pastor of Christ PC in Winterville, N.C.

Scott Killy, from associate pastor of Christ the Word in Toledo, Ohio, to organizing pastor of Amazing Grace Church in Wateska, Ill.

Brian LoPiccolo, continuing as associate pastor of Severna Park Evangelical PC in Pasadena, Md., and starting as organizing pastor of Deep Run Church in Westminster, Md.

Stephen Mirich Jr., from assistant pastor of Carolina PC in Locust, N.C., to pastor of Covenant PC in Hendersonville, N.C.

Rick Perrin, from senior pastor of Covenant PC in Cherry Hill, N.J., to honorably retired.

Sean Roberts, from associate pastor of New Life PC in Glenside, Pa., to pastor of Christ the Redeemer Church in Portland, Maine.

Shelton Sanford, from senior pastor of Westminster PC in Rock Hill, S.C., to honorably retired.

Damein Schitter, from associate pastor of Harbor PC Chula Vista in San Diego, Calif., to assistant pastor of NewCity Orlando in Orlando, Fla.

Dale Smith, from senior  pastor of Colleyville PC in Colleyville, Texas, to honorably retired.

Joshua Vahle, from RUM campus minister to spiritual life pastor of Chapin PC in Chapin, S.C.
