The Westminster Society is a networking group within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. It is not a commissioned ministry, mission, or committee of any court within the EPC, but hopes to help assist the EPC in continuing its vision for effective biblical leadership in the present and future of our church.
The 45th General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) is scheduled to meet June 17-19 in Northville, Michigan at Ward Presbyterian Church. Among the many wonderful workshops and seminars planned for this year’s Assembly, the Westminster Society hopes to contribute in a meaningful way to the annual gathering of our church.

The Westminster Society seeks to bless the EPC by fostering our unity through the promotion of confessional churchmanship and offering networking opportunities at the annual General Assembly meeting.
The Westminster Society will be hosting several events throughout the week of General Assembly.
- Networking Lunch – Tuesday, June 17 (12-1pm) – TE Mike Krueger (RTS Charlotte) – “Laying A Firm Foundation in a Skeptical World: Helping the Next Generation Face Their Doubts and Questions”
- General Assembly Psalm Sing – Wednesday, June 18 (6-7pm) – co-sponsored by Great Commission Publications and led by TE Mark Grapengater (The Table – Denver, CO), TE Zac Hicks (Church of the Cross – Birmingham, AL), and TE Bryan Rhodes (Grace Presbyterian Church – Alexandria, LA).
- Networking Lunch – Thursday, June 19 (12-1pm) – TE Walter Taylor (Oak Island EPC – Oak Island, NC) – “The Scottish Witch Hunts: The Dark Side of the Reformation”
We invite all commissioners and visitors to the EPC General Assembly to attend these events.
Zachary Hopkins is a Teaching Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and is the pastor of Edgington EPC in Taylor Ridge, IL. Committed to the virtue of churchmanship, Zach serves the EPC regionally in Rivers & Lakes Presbytery as chairman of the Ministerial Committee, and member of the Coordinating Council; and nationally as a member of the Permanent Judicial Commission of the General Assembly, and the Ad-Interim Committee on Ordination Standards.
