Matthew Miller, Senior Pastor at Greenville (SC) ARP Church, engaged to be married

Written by Staff | Monday, September 6, 2010

The engagement of Dr. Lindsay Allison Pabst and the Reverend Matthew Scott Miller has been announced by their parents.

Lindsay is the daughter of Larry and Judy Pabst of Lexington, Ohio. She is a graduate of Lexington (OH) High School, graduated with honors and received her bachelor’s degree at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. She graduated at the top of her class at Ohio State University School of Dental Medicine in 2005 and received advance training and certificate for endodontic specialization.

She is very involved in her church, participating in several Bible Studies and ministry projects locally, including a leadership position in Bible Study Fellowship International (BSF). She has taken numerous mission trips, including dental missions to Honduras and Mexico. Locally, Dr. Pabst enjoys volunteering with the Greenville Free Medical Clinic.

Matthew Scott Miller was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Economics and Philosophy and then continued his education at Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He spent a year studying in Edinburgh, Scotland while in college, and is currently pursuing a Master of Theology degree at Erskine Seminary.

Prior to coming to Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Matt worked as a college minister in Winston-Salem at Redeemer Presbyterian Church and assisting the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Wake Forest University. He then spent two years as a French translator, translating two theological books from French into English (to be released in 2009).

Matt came to Greenville ARP as Director of Christian Education, then Associate Pastor, and is now Senior Minister.

The couple plan to marry October 15, 2010 in a formal ceremony at Blowing Rock Country Club in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
