Am I expecting perfection? No, I fail others also. You probably just thought that about me, and you are right. But what is required of me is to ask for forgiveness when I fail to keep my promise to someone.
“I will call you in the next two weeks and set up an appointment for maintenance.”
That’s what the lady said from a company we use.
But you know what happened; she never called.
It happens all the time, right? Why expect anyone to keep their promise anymore?
Why? Because the people at this company profess to be Christians.
Christians should keep their promises.
Am I being too strict, narrow, and legalistic?
