I Choose to Oppose All Sin in My Life

I choose to oppose all sin in my life, not to win points with God, which is impossible, but out of love to Jesus Christ, who loved me and gave Himself for me (2 Corinthians 5:14,15; Galatians 2:20).

God has revealed in Scripture those things that please Him and displease Him.

This is not something I have to guess about or that is left up to me and my conscience or heart or reasoning to determine.

Commission of what he forbids, or omission of what He requires, is called sin.

Even though I am in this battle, I will fail ever day. Only Jesus Christ has perfectly obeyed.
