The Aquila Report considers notices of events that are sponsored by individuals, churches, denominations (national or regional), or para-church organizations, and which appear to our Editorial staff will provide advancement of the Kingdom – to be worthy of publication for the world to read. We invite all involved in ministry to send us your notice of such an event, including (but of course not limited to) denominational meetings, conferences, seminars, training opportunities, camps, orientations, and anything else that would be called an ‘event’ rather than a ‘story’. Again we are seeking this information from across the lines of the evangelical sector of the Presbyterian and Reformed world of 2008. (See our News Section for details on which groups are included in this definition.) A news article – something special that has happened in your church, denomination (national or regional), or ministry – should go into the news pages, so check that section out first (link to News) But if you like to submit a notice of an event, bring it on! We will put it in the appropriate section (see links below) and it will run for up to 30 days (see our policy on archives). As an option, we will offer you the opportunity advertise in our Web magazine at a discounted rate. Check out our current Events Rate Card for information as to placement and cost. Here are links to the various event sections so you can determine where your notice should be listed. We hope the titles are self-explanatory, but if you have questions, send an enquiry to [email protected] for advice. When you are ready to submit your notice, we ask that you prepare it as follows:
- Open your report file in the application in which you created it (i.e. Word)
- Open your “notepad” application (not “WordPad” if you have that one.. just “notepad”)
- Select your entire article in Word. then right click… copy
- Go to notepad…right click.. paste
- You will now have a non-formatted version of the report.
- Now select the text in notepad, copy and send it as an attachment to [email protected]
Be sure to include the URL to which you want to attract readers so that they can get more information and perhaps, to register.
