First Presbyterian in Mansfield, Ohio votes to leave PCUSA

Written by Jami Kinton, Mansfield News Journal | Thursday, July 14, 2011

Local First Presbyterian Church members voted Sunday to disassociate from the Presbyterian Church USA Sunday.

That move was in anticipation of a new form of church government, which took effect Monday.

The Trimble Road church had been governed under the PCUSA since the mid-1980s, when the national organization formed.
