EPC College Ministries Scholarship Announcement

Written by Staff | Monday, November 23, 2009

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) is announcing a scholarship for college ministry leaders attending the Urbana 09 Conference in St. Louis, Missouri on December 27-31. The conference, held every three years, previously held in Urbana, Illinois is now being held in St. Louis, Missouri. The first TEN college ministry leaders who apply for the scholarship will receive a $100.00 toward attending the conference.

To apply for the scholarship, send an email to [email protected] or call 734-742-2020 ext. 240.

EPC World Outreach is providing all EPC students attending the conference the opportunity for a free luncheon in a local St. Louis restaurant during the Urbana conference. This luncheon will be held on Tuesday at noon along with a presentation of the World Outreach Engage 2025 Ministry to plant ten new churches in the Muslim world by the year 2025. Pre-registration for the free luncheon is required.

EPC World Outreach will be present during the Urbana conference with a booth promoting the Engage 2025 Ministry challenge and presenting short-term ministry trip opportunities for interested students.

Since 1946, Intervarsity has been providing a place for college students to see, hear, and respond to God’s global mission at Urbana conferences. If you want to see the world in a whole new light, come to Urbana. You will learn about critical global issues from dynamic teachers, worship with thousands in one of the most diverse gatherings in North America, and hear missional students and recent graduates testify to God’s faithfulness to the ends of the earth.

There are many ways to spend five days of your winter break. But, if you want to be challenged by the spiritual and physical needs of the world, and get connected to opportunities to meet those needs, then sign up for Urbana 09. And bring your world-changing friends with you.
