“We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall,” (Proverbs 16:33, NLT).
Charles Spurgeon once said, “I have learned to kiss the waves that throw me up against the Rock of Ages.” This kind of perspective is obtained only by spiritual maturity.
Who would embrace trials? Who would get stronger through struggles? Who would find consolation in tragedy?
The answer is, “Only a Christian.”
God has revealed Himself to us as the Almighty. This means that He is over all circumstances and details that fill our lives and He is able to bring us through any difficulty. There is no situation that exposes His arm as too short; He is never weak or failing. He is all-powerful, immortal, immovable, and faithful.
By His might and for His own purposes, He has arranged the courses of our lives just as they are.
