On October 25 and 26, 2010, Covenant College will host its Reformation Day Lectures, with guest speaker Dr. Sung Wook Chung, associate professor of theology and director of Korean Initiatives at Denver Seminary.

Dr. Sung Wook Chung joined the Denver faculty in 2005 as associate professor of theology. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, Evangelical Theological Society, Calvin Studies Society, and the Karl Barth Society of North America.

Dr. Chung served in the Bible and religion department at King College from 2000–2005. While he was working as a professor of theology there, he also served the Tri-City Korean Church as pastor.

A native Korean, Chung ministers internationally and speaks frequently. He has authored or edited several books, including Admiration and Challenge: Karl Barth’s Theological Relationship with John Calvin and Christ the One and Only: A Global Affirmation of the Uniqueness of Jesus Christ.

For the Reformation Day Lectures, Chung will present a series entitled “Forgotten Treasures of the Reformation,” including the following lectures:
