Curriculum for Teaching Our Children Godly Character

Written by Staff | Monday, June 23, 2008

Whether we acknowledge it or not, we display and teach character traits to our children, peers and just about everyone else every time we act or make a decision.  Are we honest?  Are we involved in questionable activities, obey traffic laws, IRS laws, or "do not litter" ordinances, etc.?  As Christians we desire that our children learn the character qualities taught throughout Scripture.  Children’s Ministry Internation (CMI) has a three volume curriculum for teachers and parents covering about 50 character qualities found in the Bible.

Each character quality has a biblical definition, a visualized Scripture verse for memorization and coloring, Bible stories that highlight this character quality,  many practical exercises where children can see the character quality in action and finally a "Character Chart" where they can keep a journal of how these Character Qualities are seen in others and themselves.  Each Christian Character Curriculum booklet is $12.50 and can be used over again in a variety of settings.

Order by going to CMI, calling 1-888-345-4264, or e-mailing CMI if you have questions about this or any of our Reformed and catechetical material.
