Book Honoring Palmer Robertson to be Presented at PCA GA

Written by Staff | Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Dr. Palmer Robertson will be honored at a luncheon at the PCA General Assembly in Dallas with a presentation of a book of essays. The book, The Hope Fulfilled: Essays in Honor of O. Palmer Robertson, will be presented on June 10, 2008.
The book, which is being published by Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company, contains essays by numerous seminary professors and pastors that embody both the Reformation and Westminster traditions found in the Old Princeton theology with a pinch of historic Southern Presbyterianism. The essays address issues on how such traditions bore fruit in biblical interpretation, theological formulation, ecclesiastical life, pastoral ministry, and made a worldwide impact.  Dr. Robertson, is presently Vice Chancellor of African Biblical University in Kampala, Uganda. He is known as a Bible scholar, pastor, church planter, seminary professor, author, and missionary-administrator.  Over his career he taught at Reformed Seminary in Jackson; Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia; Covenant Seminary; and Knox Seminary. To make a reservation for the luncheon, which is open to all attending the General Assembly,  [Editors note: the original URL (link) referenced in this article is no longer valid, so the link has been removed.] The cost is $25 per person. There will be a dinner honoring Dr. Robertson at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Miss., on June 17 at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $15 per person.
