Bob Clarke to be Director of PCA Ministerial Relief

Written by Staff | Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Rev. Bob Clarke has accepted the position as Director of Ministerial Relief for PCA Retirement & Benefits, Inc. While serving on our Board of Directors, Bob exhibited a love for our Relief ministry and he brings to the position a wonderful set of spiritual gifts, ministry experience, maturity, and business skills. I know this change will be a personal blessing to me and the staff of RBI.

Bob comes to RBI with a broad base of pastoral, counseling and business experience. Before attending Covenant Seminary, he managed a family owned business in South Carolina where he gained both marketing and administrative skills. He has served two churches in the PCA, the first as Co-Pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church in Sweetwater, TN and most recently as the Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Greenville, MS. A Teaching Elder, Bob served as a member of the RBI Board of Directors for several years. As a member of the Relief Committee, Bob developed a heart for serving the needs of families in ministry. Being a pastor, he understands on a personal level, the challenges facing those who serve in our churches. Bob is widowed, has two grown daughters, two beautiful grandchildren and attends Ivy Creek Presbyterian Church.
