The Church In Our Time: Calling, Challenge, and Opportunity

What will it mean for us to renew the church towards faithfulness in our time?

Written by Greg Thompson | Monday, July 2, 2012

And so at the beginning of the twenty-first century, the church—graced with a confession of such joy and a calling of such beauty—nonetheless finds itself burdened with deep questions over the nature of its identity, the efficacy of its labors, the character of the culture around it, and the possibility of faithfully being the church in the late modern world. To all appearances, the answers to these questions are far from certain.

Passing the Pastoral Baton

The Possibilities and Perils of Following Long-Tenured Ministers

Written by William H. Smith | Monday, July 2, 2012

Written by David Brody, CBN | Monday, July 2, 2012

And I think that is the one thing that is most amazing. How Christianity has found its way in every part of the world. And nothing to me is more touching than to see someone that is lost in the world, come to Christ and have a transformed moment. You see that so often in... Continue Reading

The Grownup Solution

Response to "Grown-ups prevail at the PCA General Assembly"

Written by Tim Phillips | Sunday, July 1, 2012

Pastor: Well, we have the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, even though they predate theistic evolution.
