Author Bill Federer warns: Islam is more than a religion

Written by Edward Terry, The Layman | Sunday, November 7, 2010

“Either God is schizophrenic or we’re not worshipping the same god,” he said. “One of the unforgiveable sins (in Islam) is to say Jesus is the son of God. It’s the opposite in Christianity … There’s no way we’re worshipping the same god.”

Citing “1,400 years of track record,” author and commentator Bill Federer warned participants at the 2010 National Conference on Christian Apologetics of the misconception that Islam is just a religion.

“Islam is a religion, political system and military strategy,” he said. “A mosque is a religious center, political center and military center.”

Federer prefaced his two lectures, which focused on Islam’s past and recent history, by excusing the criticism that he’s being Islamophobic or taking verses from the Koran out of context in his arguments.

Federer, who is a frequent guest on the subject on network news channels, discussed Mohammed’s personal history as well as the military strategy that led to centuries of conquest in Asia, Africa and Europe. He also alerted those present that the Islamic conquest is gaining strength in Western Europe and the United States. He cited the ongoing controversy of attempts to build a mosque near the site of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks in New York City.

“Seventy percent of immigrants in Europe are Muslim,” he said, adding that Europe is now home to 50 million. “The number one name given to newborns in England – Mohammed. … In 20 years there will be 100 million Muslims in Europe. They will dominate politics.”
