Attention Homeschoolers: New Classes Added to Online A.P.* Academy

Written by Christian Newswire | Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Opportunity for homeschooled high schoolers and others to take Christian-worldview AP* courses online

Patrick Henry College Preparatory Academy (PHC Prep) is expanding its courses for the next academic year. Registration is officially open for AP* courses in English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Calculus AB, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and United States Government and Politics.

“Our inaugural class, United States Government and Politics, was an incredible success! We are offering five additional AP* courses and plan on adding more in the coming years,” said Adam Rohner, director of PHC Prep.

PHC Prep enables homeschoolers and others to jump start their college program by learning from the best Christian academics in the country. Each class offers a fully integrated Christian worldview since each course is developed and taught by Patrick Henry College professors and hand-selected Christian teachers.

Drawing on Patrick Henry College’s established reputation, PHC Prep will be able to provide high school-level students the best college preparation available.

When coupled with the AP* subject test from the College Board, each class can lead to college-level credit at thousands of colleges across the country (including Patrick Henry College). Each course prepares students to take the College Board exams that are offered in May.

PHC Prep encourages serious, academically motivated students to apply. The classes are open to high school juniors, seniors, and even their parents. To find out more, visit PHC Prep’s website at www.phcprep.org.
