DATE CORRECTED: ARP Senior High Spring Retreat features Temptation

Well, to be more specific the topic of Temptation, based on Matthew 4:1-11, is the theme of this three-day retreat, March 5-7 at Bonclarken Conference Center near Hendersonville, NC. Rev. Matt Miller, senior pastor of Greenville (SC) ARP Church will be guest speaker.

The worship team from Perimeter Church (PCA), Duluth, GA, will provide music. Free T-shirts are available to all churches registering by Feb. 19. Other entertainment includes free bowling, zip line, giant swing, and basketball, disc golf and soccer tournaments.

Those attending should bring a Bible and notebook; sleeping bag and pillow and towels; clothing and jacket; and personal items. The annual retreat is sponsored by Catawba, First and Second Presbyteries.

Cost for the weekend is $80 for students and advisors staying in Bonclarken facilities and $60 for private housing. The cost includes all program fees, all meals on Saturday and Sunday breakfast. The $25 non-refundable registration fee is due by Feb. 19. Send one check payable to Bonnie Hornby, Highlands ARP Church, PO Box 847, Grayson, GA 30017. The balance is due upon arrival.
