A note from the Midtown Fellowship (PCA), Nashville, Tenn., Leadership
Midtown Family,
Randy and Renee Draughon’s son, Zach, suddenly and unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord yesterday morning. They both loved their son with a fierce love and want you to know that they are deeply grieving.
They don’t grieve without hope and they want to thank you for grieving with them.
At this time, they are receiving no visitors. They would ask you to continue to pray for their family during this very difficult time.
Many of you are wanting to help the Draughons, and we would ask that first and foremost, you pray for them. As the Lord puts them on your mind in the coming days, please take a moment, stop what you are doing and pray for them.
Midtown has a benevolence fund to help families in financial need. The Draughons are likely to incur significant unexpected costs and if they need it, we would obviously like to help them from this fund.
If you would like to make a donation the the benevolence fund, you may do so online here. These donations will not go directly to the Draughons, but to Midtown, and then we will help the Draughons if and as they have need, at the discretion of our Elders.
If you would like to provide a meal for the Draughons, below is a link to a meal schedule for them. We ask that meals be brought to our church offices at 2415 12th Avenue South, please do not take food to the Draughons home. Our admin office is making sure that all meals and notes get to them. The schedule runs through the end of March, but we will extend the schedule for as long as it is helpful to the family.
