Last Friday a friend of mine, who reads the Wall Street Journal, sent me links to three great stories – all of which went up over the weekend. I was, of course, very thankful but it got me to thinking. Perhaps there are others like Marvin Padgett out there!!
So here’s my idea. I would like to hear from people who regularly read online newspapers or magazines. By regularly, I mean several times a week minimum. Then, when you review stories in these newspapers or magazines, you keep an eagle eye out for stories related to religion, churches, world-and-life issues, etc. And just send me a link! That’s it. Just the link.
As volunteers come in I’ll keep track of the source journals and let you know if I already have that one covered. If so, I’ll get the two of you in touch so you might perhaps back up each other.
Like the headline says, it’s a volunteer position. Perhaps in the future when we have enough advertising and gift income, we’ll be able to provide a small stipend.
I have included links to the stories I was speaking about below so you can get an idea of about when kind of stories we are looking for. But if you have any doubts, send it on; we’ll make the final decisions anyway. After a while you will become comfortable with our style and it will be very easy.
