RTS/Charlotte will hold their spring lecture series on February 28 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr. is the speaker and will talk on “Never Such Innocence Again: The Intellectual Consequences of Christian Belief.” Dr. Mohler serves as president and the Joseph Emerson Brown professor of Christian theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor and staff minister of several Southern Baptist churches and has written numerous books. His two latest books from 2009 are Words From the Fire: Hearing the Voice of God in the 10 Commandments and The Disappearance of God: Dangerous Beliefs in the New Spiritual Openness.

Dr. Dave Harvey will speak at the spiritual life conference at RTS/Jackson February 22-23. He is the acting president at Sovereign Grace Ministries in Glen Mills, Penn., and is responsible for church care, church planting and international expansion there. He served as senior pastor of Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills from 1990-2008. He received a Master of Arts in Missiology from Westminster Theological Seminary and became a graduate of Westminster’s D.Min program. The subject of his doctoral thesis was “The Identification and Equipping of Church Planters.” He is the author of Rescuing Ambition (Crossway, 2010) and When Sinners Say “I Do”: Discovering the Power of the Gospel for Marriage (Shepherd, 2007). He lives in West Chester, Penn., with his wife, Kimm. They have four children.
Dr. Michael J. Kruger is the speaker for the 2013 Kistemaker Academic lecture series at RTS/Orlando March 20-21. He is a professor of New Testament and academic dean at RTS/Charlotte. Dr. Mark Futato said, “Dr. Michael Kruger will capture your attention as he engages questions about the canon of the New Testament. He is a highly qualified scholar on this subject, having earned his Ph.D. from New College, The University of Edinburgh, in Scotland.
