The historic Miller Chapel at Princeton Theological Seminary will host this year’s Princeton Regional Conference on Reformed Theology Nov. 5-6. The event is sponsored by the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals and will feature Kent Hughes and David Helm.
The theme of the conference is: “These Speak of Me: The Glory of Christ in All of Scripture.” The focus will be on the growing confusion in the church today concerning how the Old Testament relates to the New Testament, how the Scriptures form a coherent whole and the place of the Lord Jesus Christ in evangelical hermeneutics.
Hughes is the senior pastor emeritus of College Church in Wheaton, Ill., and author of numerous books, including the best-selling Disciplines of a Godly Man. He is also editor and contributor for the projected 50-volume Preaching the Word series, including Mark: Jesus, Servant and Savior, which received the E.C.P.A. Gold Medallion Book Award for best commentary in 1990.
Helm serves as lead pastor of the South Side Congregation of the Holy Trinity in Chicago. A graduate of Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he is ordained in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) and serves on the council of The Gospel Coalition. He authored I, II Peter and Jude in Crossway’s Preaching the Word series, and contributed to Preach the Word: Essays in Expository Preaching in Honor of Kent Hughes.
