On November 12-14, 20 and 21, 2009, the Covenant College Drama Association will perform a staged reading of an adaptation of two plays from Dorothy Sayers’ Man Born to be King. Plays will start at 8:00 p.m.
in the Sanderson Hall auditorium. A matinee performance will be held on November 21 at 2:30 p.m.
Sayers’ cycle of plays retells the story of the life of Christ, and the Drama Association will
perform King of Sorrows (the crucifixion of Christ) and The King Comes to His Own (Christ’s
resurrection). Katie Jenkins ’11 is directing. Tickets are $5 for the public, $3 for students, and are sold at the door. Call 706.820.1560 for more information or contact Iemima Ploscariu at [email protected]
