“The biggest need right now for the firefighters are eye drops and baby powder,” said Sullivan who just relocated to Colorado Springs. “But, we’ve got churches, schools and businesses opening their doors in various ways. A mile into my workout at the gym and I start dreaming of cake. Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting that’s chilled but not frozen — cold enough so the cake and frosting are firm and rich and so sweet that you can get lost in the flavor. And French fries, crinkle-cut and just snatched from the deep fryer, so crispy that they almost snap when you take a bite. With buckets of ketchup on the side and a Blue Moon beer with a slice of orange to wash them down.

Pondering God’s majestic splendor all we could do was whisper, “Wow!”
We headed for the summit. The air was thin and the going wasn’t easy; we had to stop often to catch our breath only to lose it again when surveying the majesty surrounding us….When we reached the summit we knew we were on “Hallowed Ground.” God created this beauty for us to inhale and enjoy. All we could do was to silently look around and whisper, “Wow!”
