The conference theme was “Applying the Gospel to Relationships” and was attended by about 70 pastors from all across America.
I am pleased to report that our 12th Annual Conference of the Council of Asian American Reformed Leaders (former EM but now CAARL Pastors’ Conference) was another milestone for the conference.
We have turned the conference leadership over to the 2nd generation group of CAARL. I have known all 7 members of the group well for a long time to have a trust in their leadership in the ministry of the Reformed faith as in the PCA.
The conference theme was “Applying the Gospel to Relationships” and was attended by about 70 pastors from all across America.
The plan was to be more relational through mentoring. Young pastors need mentoring direly and there have not been enough mature older mentoring pastors.
Now the second generation pastor leaders are getting mature and older with experience in ministry and theology and they can now mentor younger brothers. We envision a formation of a community like the first century church of love, giving and sharing everything together. Our ultimate goal is to reach multiethnic America and the world with the Gospel of Christ. Please continue to pray and support this movement.
Although these young CAARL now have taken the lead to do the conference, they have asked that I continue to help them both spiritually and materially. I in turn ask you to support me in this endeavor.
CTS (Christian Television System) had an interview with me for half hour about my second generation’s ministry in the PCA and was broadcast December 28, 2010. I introduced the PCA as a
Reformed denomination in which we do Korean ministries for second generation pastors. If you can understand Korean, go here http://vimeo.com/18375404 to view the interview.
Lectures from the CAARL conference are available here http://www.caarl.org/sermons.php.
