Puritan Reformed Seminary and Reformation Bible College Forge Partnership For MDiv Program

PRTS in Grand Rapids, Mich., and RBC in Sanford, Fla., have agreed to a strategic partnership establishing a 6-year Master of Divinity Program.

Puritan Reformed Seminary in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Reformation Bible College in Sanford, Fla., have agreed to a a strategic partnership establishing of a 6-year Master of Divinity (MDiv) Program. This strategic partnership exemplifies the vision of the strengthening and sharing of resources in the service of the academy and church. Undergraduate students of RBC can continue and complete their studies at PRTS with an accredited MDiv program.

 

Grand Rapids, Mich. / Sanford, Fla.—Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (“PRTS”) in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Reformation Bible College (“RBC”) in Sanford, Fla., have agreed to a a strategic partnership establishing of a 6-year Master of Divinity (MDiv) Program. This strategic partnership exemplifies the vision of the strengthening and sharing of resources in the service of the academy and church.

Undergraduate students of RBC can continue and complete their studies at PRTS with an accredited MDiv program.

Joel R. Beeke, President of PRTS comments, “We trust that, by God’s grace, this newly established 6-year MDiv program, which stresses both solid Reformed academic training and vital piety, will serve the church and the academy in unprecedented ways, strengthening the Reformed community worldwide.”

Stephen J. Nichols, President of RBC comments, “This new program is the culmination of a shared commitment of RBC and PRTS to the authority of God’s Word and to upholding the Reformed confessions. We’re so glad that RBC students will have the opportunity to continue their theological education at PRTS.”

Founded in 2011 by R.C. Sproul, Reformation Bible College provides undergraduate theological education. It offers a BA and AA in theology, a two-year degree completion program, and a one-year certificate in theology. Its mission is to educate students in the knowledge of God and His holiness in the Reformed classical tradition. The curriculum is designed to give graduates a thorough knowledge of Scripture, doctrine, church history, philosophy, and the great works of literature, art, and music.

Founded in 1995, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary is now an accredited educational institution for granting the MA, MDiv, ThM, and PhD degrees. Its mission is to prepare students worldwide to serve Christ and His church through biblical, experiential, and practical ministry. The seminary numbers close to 150 students, has ten professors, twenty globally renowned scholars as adjunct faculty, and a support staff of twelve.
